The Wonderful World annual gala, hosted by Wonderful World: Friends of Music Therapy Inc (WWFMT), honors the legacy of Louis Armstrong and his commitment to bettering the lives of others through music. 100% of proceeds raised will be given to our beneficiary, The Louis Armstrong Center for Music & Medicine (LACMM) in NYC, for its music therapy programs.
EVENT DETAILS
A gala Emcee'd by Mercedes Ellington
and Bill Daughtry and co-chaired by
Karen & Doug Seidman. The event will host a live and silent auction. Tickets are $200. This year's gala will feature a silent AND live auction to benefit the Louis Armstrong Center for Music & Medicine. Honorees this year are Multi-Platinum Grammy award-winning Saxophonist David Sanborn, Department Chair of Psychiatry at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Grant Mitchell MD, and patient Rosemarie Greene. With performances by Rema Webb from The Music Man, Antoine L. Smith from MJ: The Musical, Jazz Saxophonist Erick Lawrence, and Jazz Pianist Garry Dial.
